The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), established in the year 1971 is a major industrial unit of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The complex is responsible for the supply of nuclear fuel bundles and reactor core components for all the nuclear power reactors operating in India. It is a unique facility where natural and enriched uranium fuel, zirconium alloy cladding and reactor core components are manufactured under one roof starting from the raw materials.

Fresher - Mechanical:(6) (UR-3, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1)
Diploma in Mechanical Engg. (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60 % marks.

Electrical :(4) (UR-1, SC-1, OBC-2)
Diploma in Electrical Engg. (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60 % marks.

Chemical :(6) (UR-3, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1)

Diploma in Chemical Engg. / Diploma in Chemical Engg. with Polymer Technology (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60 % marks.

Computer Science :(3) (UR-1, SC-1, OBC-1)
B.Sc. (Computer Science) with minimum 60% marks, OR ii) B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks plus 1 year Diploma in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks.

Note: For Cat.3 Trainees : i) Those candidates who are studying either I year or II year or final year /appearing for Degree in Engineering/M.Sc./AMIE/equivalent or passed such courses need not apply. ii) Candidates without the Diploma qualification as on the date of submission of application need not apply. iii) No Age relaxation to the candidates who apply against Un-reserved (UR) posts. For Cat.4 Trainees :i) Those candidates who are studying or appearing I year or II year or final year/appeared for the Diploma in Engineering/Degree in B.Sc (MPC) or who have passed Diploma in Engineering/BSc. will not be considered and hence need not apply. ii) Candidates without the ITI qualification as on the date of submission of application need not apply. iii) No age relaxation to the candidates who apply against Un-reserved (UR) posts.

Physical Standards: For both Cat.I and Cat.II Trainees. Height 160 cms (minimum) Weight 45.5 kgs (minimum). Relaxable if the candidate is otherwise medically fit. Vision 6/6 (without wearing glasses or any other aid.) Colour blindness is a disqualification

The application in the prescribed format should be submitted and outer cover should be superscribed “Application for the post of _______________ under Category No.______” against “Advertisement No. NFC/01/2010”. Separate application should be submitted for each post, if a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post. Only one application should be enclosed in one cover. A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application.
